For Parents & Advisors

This is Michigan. Here, students pursue academic excellence and build the skills that will allow them to both succeed and thrive in their personal and professional lives. To put it simply, we’re in the business of educating the Leaders and Best.

But academics are just one part of a student’s college experience. College is a place where students find their passions, navigate independence, and build lifelong friendships. It’s a nurturing home away from home. Our goal is to make their years here as happy, healthy, and fruitful as possible – and to help them feel comfortable with the transition to college.

The Center for Leadership Development and Career Preparation goes a step further, providing student-athletes with a wide variety of resources to support their personal development and professional growth and prepare them for their lives and careers following their Michigan experience.
